Dealing with damp stains & mould growth – permanently

Does your home suffer from condensation, damp or mould growth? In some cases the answer to this question may be obvious but in others it is not. For example, condensation is often mis-diagnosed as damp.

Condensation occurs in most homes at most times of the year, but especially in the autumn and winter. It is entirely natural and most people take care of it through simple household cleaning.

However, damp and mould growth are more serious problems and, if left untreated, can be unsightly, smelly and even harmful to health.

Our simple technical survey will identify the presence, location and severity of damp and mould in your home. We then determine the best approach to treatment and provide you with a quotation to eradicate staining from walls and ceilings. Once our work is done we provide you with a bottle of ‘Clearmould’ spray to use on any clothes, curtains, carpets or other items that may have been affected by mould.

The 3-stage Mould Treatment

Treating mould is a 3-stage process. However, you may decide to go for the first two stages only, preferring to decorate yourself using a paint of your choice. You may also, for example, wish to wallpaper after our treatment. If you choose to paint or wallpaper we can provide you with a special fungicidal additive for mixing into paint or wallpaper paste. Either way, you not only get rid of mould but end up with a newly decorated room!

1. Bactdet: cleans the surface and kills all visible signs of mould.
2. Halothane Bonding Solution: forms a barrier to prevent mould infection in the fabric reinfecting the surface.
3. Biocheck Paints: giving a fungicidal decorative finish.
